We were contacted by a local resident who was recommended our services by another satisfied customer. For this project the client was looking for an energy efficient and quiet system installed within their large open plan lounge area and upstairs bedrooms to keep them cool throughout the summer. The systems are predominantly used for cooling however due to their impressive energy efficiency they are also used for heating and are more cost effective to operate than their conventional gas boilers.

A Grade II listed 400 year old farmhouse came with its own set of unique challenges for the team to overcome. With natural original oak beams and high coffered ceilings we provided heating and cooling solutions throughout including bedrooms and home gym. External units were discreetly located and hidden away from plain view.

An existing operational hotel were having numerous issues with a relatively new technology system installed throughout their property. The Mitsubishi Hybrid system incorporates a refrigerant based external unit providing heating or cooling to a heat exchanger, the heat exchanger in turn provides hot or cold water to the fan coil units within the guest rooms. GMS were brought onboard to investigate and rectify the issues and provide a fault free system. After thorough surveys we managed to identify all of the problems across the 20 systems serving 9 floors which included replacement of major components and faulty pipework installations. The hotel is now operating as it should and the system is being regularly maintained by us to ensure it stays that way.
SHEFFIELD

We secured the contract for a new build 150-bedroom hotel after successfully navigating the tender process. Heating and cooling is provided by a Mitsubishi Electric hybrid system serving fan coil units across 5 floors. In addition to this GMS are installing roof mounted air handling units to provide fresh air and extraction from the building, kitchen and toilet extract systems, leak detection, thermal insulation and building controls. Alongside this we are also undertaking the complete public health services installations to include guest bedroom bathrooms, staff areas, sanitaryware installations, C02 heat pump systems providing hot water, and boosted conditioned water. Our largest project to date and a testament to the company’s growth and continued success over the years.
