Chanel Flagship Store New Bond Street - 60 weeks

Our most prestigious and largest project to date was the full design and installation of mechanical services for the brand new head office and flagship store for Chanel on New Bond Street. From design development alongside the architectural team through to the successful delivery of all mechanical services to include Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, Gas Fired water heaters and all associated pipework and services. Over 100no 4 pipe fan coil units located over 5 floors, Trend BMS Controls system, Smoke extraction, UPS and Sprinkler Systems. M&E services fully coordinated and installed within boutique ceiling voids designed and installed to a tolerance of 2mm to enable ornate ceiling installations to follow. GMS have undertaken the full Planned Preventative Maintenance for the building since installation.

Luxury Jewellery Store - 1 Week

GMS were employed to undertake the full design of a new Hushon ducted style air conditioning system within an existing retail unit at Westfields. This included the approval process along with carpentry works providing temporary and permanent maintenance access and decorating of ceilings on completion. The store was temporarily closed throughout the project which was completed within 1 week. The works included new mains power supplies, condenser water, ductwork, grilles and plenums and commissioning of the fan coil unit air and water systems on completion.

GMS undertook the supply and installation of Toshiba VRF systems across two floors for a new flagship retail outlet in a prime location on Regent Street. Ducted style fan coil units were installed on the sales floor with bespoke swirl diffusers delivering air into the space. Cassette style fan coil units were installed within the basement back of house areas. In addition to this we installed 2no electric overdoor air curtains, energy efficient heat recovery ventilation systems complete with acoustic attenuation. GMS employed DSM contract lifting services to undertake a Sunday night crane lift including road closures and traffic management to lift the AC condensing units to roof level. The project was commissioned and handed over in time for the festive season sales at the specific request of the clients which we successfully delivered.

During the store refurbishment we undertook the isolation, disconnection and removal of the existing faulty air conditioning systems and replaced with a new Daikin compact cassette mini VRV system. The store was temporarily closed to facilitate the refurbishment works which were completed on time and on budget within 2 months.

GMS were instructed to complete the isolation, disconnection and removal of existing services at the above site. We provided AutoCAD drawings with coordinated mechanical and electrical services including sprinkler systems. GMS installed new air conditioning systems including ductwork, pipework and grilles along with an automatic BMS controls system.

We were employed to undertake the design and fitout of a new enlarged flagship store located in prestigious Mayfair. GMS provided Daikin air conditioning and ventilation systems across three floors to include front of house VIP sales areas and back of house areas including specific systems serving the watchmakers repair room and stair welfare facilities.

One of Europe’s most trusted bedding brands employed GMS to design, supply and install Mitsubishi air conditioning systems to the showroom and offices. The phased project was completed within an occupied office space. Our considerate team worked alongside the client to minimize disruption and completed the project on time and on budget. The staff were thrilled with their new systems which provide heating and cooling all year round.
